Laura was born in Bucaramanga and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. From an early age, she developed a strong interest in how cities evolve and how the law shapes urban life. She holds a Law degree from Universidad Santo Tomás and both a Specialization and a Master’s Degree in Urban Law and Urban Development from Universidad del Rosario.
Her professional experience includes serving as a legal advisor and policy consultant for Bogotá’s City Government, contributing to projects related to urban planning, mobility, and territorial management. In addition, she has worked with U.S.-based law firms, supporting civil litigation in California and Georgia.
Her work is guided by a deep commitment to service and by the conviction that there is always a human story behind every situation and case. She strives to combine legal expertise with empathy, ethics, and a people-centered perspective.
When she’s not working, Laura enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, discovering new cultural spaces, reading, and exploring cities through architecture and urban design.
