Jose was born in Athens, GA, and spent part of his childhood in Guanajuato, Mexico, before returning to the U.S. at age 12. Adjusting to a new language and culture was challenging, but through perseverance, he excelled, graduating from Clarke Central High School.
Now with over two years of experience at Massey Law Group, Jose serves as our Intake and Client Engagement Manager, overseeing the intake team and ensuring every client receives the guidance and support they need from the very beginning of their case. Having personally experienced language and communication barriers, he’s passionate about helping clients feel heard, understood, and cared for during some of the most stressful times in their lives.
Jose says his favorite part of his work is “helping clients during some of the hardest moments of their lives and assuring them they’re not alone, our team will fight for them every step of the way.”
Outside of work, Jose enjoys traveling with his wife, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, and spending time with family and friends. He’s also passionate about learning history, collecting Aztec antiques, and discovering different cultures from around the world
