Laura was born in Bucaramanga and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. From an early age, she developed a strong interest in how cities evolve and how the law shapes urban life. Laura holds a Law degree from Universidad Santo Tomás and both a Specialization and a Master’s Degree in Urban Law and Urban Development from Universidad del Rosario.
Her professional experience has focused on public service and urban governance. She has served as a legal advisor and policy consultant for Bogotá’s City Government, contributing to projects related to urban planning, mobility, and territorial management. In addition, she has collaborated remotely with U.S.-based law firms, supporting civil litigation in California and Georgia.
My work is guided by a deep commitment to service and by the conviction that there is always a human story behind every situation and case. Laura strives to combine legal and urban expertise with empathy, ethics, and a people-centered perspective, promoting more inclusive and resilient cities.
When Laura is not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, discovering new cultural spaces, reading, and exploring cities through architecture and urban design.
